2017 Auction Gala

Join us for a magical evening of fun, community, and raising money for our childrenDoors open at 6:00 PM for cocktails and silent auction followed by dinner and live auction featuring weekend getaways, sporting events, Principal for the Day, and more.  The night continues with dancing and a full no host bar.

Monday, February 13th & Tuesday, February 14th will be a conference days.  School will run on a minimum schedule as follows:
Kindergarten - 8:20 AM - 11:45 AM
Grades 1 & 2 - 8:30 - 12:00 PM
Grade 3 - 8:30 AM - 11:55 AM
Grades 4 & 5 - 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Shop at any Sloat Garden Center location during your school's Growing up Green week, mention your school, and your school will receive 10% of purchases back in the form of a Sloat gift card, which can go towards your school's beautification projects, fundraisers or classroom activities. The school with the highest participation will receive 20% of purchases back.

After School Enrichment Spring Session is coming soon!!  Registration is February 13th - February 24th. Be on the look out for more detailed registration information next week.  We are excited to announce that our DRAMA Program is back for grades 2nd - 5th, and the performance will be 101 Dalmatians Kids.  We are also offering Superstar Guitar, Hip Hop, Robotics, Bricks4Kidz, Toyology, Hoops, Flag Football, Critters n' Clay, Cooking Buddy, Yes for Chess, and of course GBTV!  Most classes will begin the week of February 27th through mid-May.  Any questions, contact Enrichment Coordinator, Nicole Andre at

Six Flags Read to Succeed Ends Soon!

Every Greenbrook student grades K-5 is invited to participate in Six Flags 2017 Read to Succeed and earn a free pass to Six Flags Park Vallejo valid during the 2017 summer season! To participate, a student must read 6 hours (360 minutes) of recreational (not for an assignment or homework) reading by February 22nd!
Reading Logs were sent home January 19th.

Parenting 2017 & Beyond Conference!

The San Ramon Valley Council of PTAs' annual parent education conference specializes in topics and information related to children in preschool through high school and targets parents, educators and community members.

This year's conference features a keynote address by Michele Borba, who will be speak on "Empathy: The Best Antidote for Bullying and Lessons for Success in the Digital Age," and introduce her latest book, UnSelfie, which gives 9 proven and teachable habits to nurture children's empathy and why developing empathy is key predictor to help kids succeed in our global, digital-driven world. As an expert recognized internationally for her work in bullying prevention and character education, Michele's work aims to help strengthen children's character and resilience, build strong families, create compassionate and just school cultures, and reduce peer cruelty. She has appeared on the Today Show, CNN, and The View among others to share her expertise.
Your conference registration also includes selection of one morning and one afternoon small-group seminar, continental breakfast and lunch.  Seminar topics include executive functioning, family dynamics, nutrition for healthy sleep and stress reduction, manifesting mindfulness as kindfulness, drug abuse & trends among teens, online safety, raising children with special needs, college planning and funding, tools to guide the gifted child, multicultural parenting, and many others.
