The mission of Greenbrook Library is to support each Greenbrook student in their success, enjoyment, and growth as readers and to encourage them to be life-long readers and life-long learners.

Book Fair Fiesta March 13-21 in the Greenbrook Library

It's a Fiesta of Reading at the Book Fair - Vamos a Leer!  Let's Go Read! Fiesta of Reading

Mark your calendar:  The book fair will be held Thursday March 13 through Friday March 21 in the Greenbrook Library.  Open late Thursday March 20 till 7:30 p.m. for family shopping.  This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase some great books for your student, yourself, or that special friend or teacher! 

                          Thursday, March 13                11:30 a.m.—4:30 p.m.   

                          Monday, March 17                  8:15 a.m.— 3:00 p.m.             

                          Tuesday, March 18                  8:15 a.m.— 3:00 p.m.

                          Wednesday, March 19             8:15 a.m.— 3:00 p.m.

                          Thursday, March 20                 8:15 a.m.— 7:30 p.m.

                          Friday, March 21                     8:15 a.m.— 10:45 a.m.

NEW:  Free Book Fair App!  Download by seaching for "Scholastic Book Fair" at the App Store/Google play for either your tablet or phone.  Gives price, age level, lexile, other book suggestions, and more.  Use it by scanning books at the book fair!

 Special event for incoming kindergarteners and their families:  Wednesday, March 19 from 1-2 pm. 


Greenbrook Reads!

232 Greenbrook students participated in Six Flags 2014 Read to Succeed and earned a free pass to Six Flags Park valid during the 2014 summer season! Together these students read 97,511 minutes for an average of 420 minutes, well above the minimum needed to earn the free Six Flags ticket. Tickets will be distributed towards the end of the school year in late May or early June. Way to SOAR Eagles!

Greenbrook Eagles are part of the NEW WORLD RECORD of 2,462,860 who read or heard the same book on one day as they heard Otis by Loren Long.

A Big Thank-You to all those who adopted a book for our Greenbrook Library at registration.  You can view a list of adopted books at the library check out desk.  Way To Go EAGLES!!  Adopt-a-Book is an ongoing opportunity; so if you’d like to honor a birthday, special event, or special person with a book added to the library in their honor, stop by the library anytime!
